A native of South Georgia, Colby P. Connell, Esq., earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Business Systems and Accounting, from the University of Georgia. Upon graduating, Colby took a position in accounting before enrolling in Stetson University College of Law in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

While in law school, Colby competed as a member of the No. 1 Trial Team in the nation. During that time, he won multiple state competitions, including numerous individual awards for his superior advocacy skills.

Later, Colby went on to win the National Civil Trial Competition, held in Los Angeles, California, where he was named the Best Advocate of the competition, outperforming advocates from across the nation. Upon graduating from law school, Colby received many merit-based and advocacy-based honors and awards, testaments to his exemplary scholastic and personal achievements.

Colby began his legal career clerking at one of the state's most prestigious medical malpractice firms. During his time with the firm, Colby became familiar with complex medical injury and personal injury litigation, a knowledge base he continues to expand today.

Colby continued his legal career at a state-wide personal injury firm, representing clients and litigating all types of personal injury cases while specializing in premises liability claims. Then, with a strong commitment, dedication, and calling to advocate on behalf of those who have suffered an injury or lost a loved one due to someone else's wrongdoing, Colby started Connell Law in Tampa, Florida.

Connell Law represents plaintiffs in all types of personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Colby takes pride in fighting zealously for personal injury victims and their families throughout the state of Florida and personally handles every client's claim from start to finish.
